i'm surprised that california is #2 for animal waste. i figured some state in the midwest would have most of the top spots. texas i am not surprised by at all though...a whole lotta steak and brisket out there...yummy!

I HATE SIX FLAGS...LOL! My punanny stomach and punanny head get all dizzed out from those rollercoasters, and then the 800 degree weather (a bit of an exaggeration...but just a bit mind you!)intensifies my feeling of queasiness and despair ten-fold.
I'm not really full of hate and complaints...it's just that Texas really kinda sux in my opinion, so this thread is bringing out the worst in me.
By the way Weezy, i road-tripped to alabama and georgia this summer. beautiful! and the summers are not bad at all, i might add. it does suck that alabama has NO ROAD SIGNS, however, when you're from outta state and have little to no idea where you are going. Your buddy misses a turn, and fifty miles later you look up and exclaim,
"Where are we?!! But hey, look at the pretty pine trees." LOL

Personally i am surprised that this topic wasn't moved to the SYM forum with naziesque efficiency. Is buck asleap at the keyboard? But seriously lets have a vote, california vs texas. Which one sucks more. I vote texas sucks more than california. What about you?

We poor Southerns can't have all the luxuries of life average moe.
On another note..Alabama does have
Maps in every rest stop...for free.
Now the option to use a map...is left up to the person driving.
I would say with the ego's in this thread...this option in void.

Believe me, we had the map...true we weren't the best navigators, but it really is extremely hard to negotiate those Alabama roads when they have no road signs...even if you have a map.

Two very good points Underdog. Most people in this nation hate Texas, without ever having been there, just because of the few vocal Texans that spout off all of the time.
As for me, I put up with crappy Chicago weather and landscape because it is close to my family in Wisconsin and I still can get a job and do interesting things here. My personal opinion is that living in a lot of places as an adult gives you a good perspective on where you grew up. There are tons of people, in Texas or Southern California or Illinois or wherever, that go on about how great their place is without ever really seeing the alternatives.
And my state, wherever that is, IS better than your state!
