I'd suggest that a lot of people in this forum actually live in Europe and Asia, and that the US contingent is pretty spread out. It's just that most of the latter (including myself) don't list their addresses.

Texans, on the other hand, usually list Texas, so as to distinguish themselves from the USA. ;)

So approximately where do you live Fable-sama? please don't say "Cryptic, Conn." :D

@kimaster - man...such anger...tsk tsk tsk...at no point in this thread did anyone say that this forum was only visited by americans. in fact, fable distinctly addressed our asian and european brothers and sisters...

Um, not to perpetuate the feelings of animosity and such, but i very much dislike Texas...it's just my unfortunate station in life to call this big hot sucky place my home. these summers kill me.

Kid, you crack me up!

From now on, "The Torture State" it is!
(summers here in LA are no picnic, let me tell you)

I actually notice that it seems like a lot of the posters on the forum are from Northern Europe, the Netherlands, you know, Denmark, Iceland...Peace to our Northern European brothers!

And of course a shout out to the British Isles - Yeah lets all lift a pint of Harp for Gorion...

All right
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....

Yeah, I have noticed that there are more people in Europe than people in the US here in this forum. None of my friends play BG series even though I have tried to convince them for a long time now. All of them is hooked on UT or Quake. I guess people in the US have less taste in people in Europe although I have no grudge against mindless gun-blazing games.

@ki2master: don't worry, there alot of people from Europe and some from Asia. There's a variety.

The thing is that Texans are for some reason very proud of themselves but us New Jerseyans aren't.

I'm certainly not proud of being a native texan and having lived my whole life here. for the most part, it's an ugly state, and the weather is HORRIBLE. i swear, it's more humid in the Dallas/Fort Worth area than it is in Orlando, Florida. that just doesn't make sense to me considering it rains like once a month during the summer. Ridiculous. honestly, stepping outside and breaking into a sweat isn't my idea of a good time. One of these days i'm gonna grow up and move away in my adulthood. Well, prolly not, but i like to talk big :D

You guys think a Texan summer is bad? Trying going through an Alaskan winter! With snow up to your torso, ice covering every road and walkway, and temperatures reaching well into the negatives, you’ll find Texas quite comfortable by comparison. ;)

Here's a little bonus joke. When an Alaskan says he’s headed to get some food south of the border, he probably means eating flapjacks and Canadian bacon. :D :p :D
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
