Hehe...well Ive had a few ideas for DCI, but I dont want to direct your comic, as youve been doing a good job with it on your own. I throw the basic idea out there anyway. What would happen if they summoned a level 1 monster, and Khaggoth got "attached" to it. Maybe like a pet or a friend. :D You could build off that. :D

Hey! Yuan ti are cool. :p Now mind flayers....theyre annoying and theyre boring. :p

Yeah, something lower level than Lemure would be cool. And would be in character for Khaggoth too, since he was the against Castor killing Lepus during their first encounter. Image

Hehe. Yeah. Maybe a hobgoblin. Hobgoblins are great. Theyre so stupid, yet they obey, but they are warriors that also has a coward inside. :D In BG II, I often summoned hobgoblins, and tried to protect them in battle. They were like my group's pet. :D Or you could go for something smaller like a goblin, or some bug. Or you could go giant, like an ettin or something. :D

Good. From all the grief they caused me in BGII, crying is the least they deserve.

Maybe it should be a sad Mindflayer that Khaggoth gets attached to. :p :D

Reminds me of the old Simpsons Halloween special with the zombies. :D Anyway, Mindflayers can be sad too!

LOL :D Hmmm...well now that Ive seen a mindflayer cry, I suppose anything is possible. But how the heck is the DCI crew going to encounter a sad mind flayer? In the middle of the woods?

Oh wait....theyve encountered Spiderman and Darth Vader in the woods. I suppose a sad mind flayer is just a hop skip and a jump away from that.

But who can trust a mind flayer? :D

If you can't trust a Mind Flayer, who can you trust? :D

Hrm....yes I suppose a creature that takes great interest in eating your innards, by any means possible, is always worth trusting. :D

There's a couple of eBay sites based in Europe (you can access them from the EBay address I posted earlier).

Well Ive got a topic for discussion here...

Other then Kayless' comic, because I know we all love Kayless' comic, what other comics seem to be in the upper echelon of internet comics?

Ive only grown attached to Kayless' and CtlAltDel, which I must thank Kam for telling me about, otherwise, I would have never ventured to look at it.

"Oh really? You know, I think I see a familiy resemblance between us."

I, now officially, love Arudin! His dialogs are the funniest, and cleverest I can remember. I especially liked it when he made fun of the druid in...episode 25? :D

Who can resist an overconfident, pompous, money grubbing, self centered wizard? :D

Yeah. Hes a good character, as necessary as any other member in the group. Ive analyzed it before so I wont go into it again. I like Arudin and Castor. Those would be my 2 favorite characters, but Durnkrag and Khaggoth are worthy of being recognized aswell. :D

It became apparent early on that Arudin’s role would be the rat bastard who specializes in verbal barbs at the expense of whoever’s in his way. He’s actually based on the power gamers of AD&D who often chose to play as elves. You gotta love a "heroic" adventurer who believes that morality is secondary to personal gain. Image

They each have their place. Frankly the group wouldn’t exist without Durnkrag; the sober "yin" to other’s raging "yangs". Image Arudin is vital as the mage (and acerbic master of put-downs), and simple Khaggoth (who's actually a bit smarter than he lets on) is the group's best fighter and mascot. Only Castor seems to be disposable (notice, he's the only one who sucks at his job), but is tolerated since he tends to act as human minesweeper, absorbing most of the collateral damage. :D

Formula wise, Durnkrag is the straight man, Arudin specializes in insult comedy, Khaggoth produces goofy screwball moments, and Castor sires a good deal of slapstick. :)

I think Durnkrag is loosing his control over the group... He's letting Castor get way too much influence.

I love when they got in the caves the first time (the cave with the restrooms, which was hilarious in itself), when it was his time to step up, and he couldnt even stop the alarm from going off and got a barage of complaints from the group. :D Hehehe....
