Well he did insist they return the money, but yeah, I think he's given up a bit. ;)

As Tyb said: Who could resist an overconfident, pompous, money grubbing, self centered wizard? And the rest of the group

I love when they got in the caves the first time (the cave with the restrooms, which was hilarious in itself), when it was his time to step up, and he couldnt even stop the alarm from going off and got a barage of complaints from the group. :D Hehehe....

I think he's picked, what one lock successfully? (The Gruntboy episode) Image At this point the others don't expect him to disarm any traps, just take the brunt of the damage. If they want a door open they get Khaggoth. If they want to sneak into someplace... They don't! Image

Arudin's been getting some comeuppance recently though (getting attacked by a moose). I have an episode coming up that is really going to fray his nerves. :p

Well every group needs a decoy/sucker to take the brunt of the damage. :D Its very useful. It saves healing potions and much grief.....for the other members of the group. :D

You know, now that I think about it, Arudin had planned this role for Castor all along! Image

Other then Kayless' comic, because I know we all love Kayless' comic, what other comics seem to be in the upper echelon of internet comics?

Ive only grown attached to Kayless' and CtlAltDel, which I must thank Kam for telling me about, otherwise, I would have never ventured to look at it.
I like Sinfest, Penny Arcade, and 8-Bit Theater. ;)

Well, most of the top 150 comics over on Top Web Comics are fairly over-rated, IMHO. ;)

Secret of man is funny.

The #1 comic, Sonic, is really bad.

Yeah, even though it´s a flash movie comic, it´s pretty hilarous. (doesn´t come anywhere near DCI, of course...)
Did you play the original game?

BTW Kayless, I really think Khaggoth should have more lines. I´ve grown to simply adooore his kind personality and fragile soul. :D

Yeah, the big guy does need to talk more (for the most part he’s restricted to the occasional bizarre one-liner). Hopefully I'll be able to work more lines in there. But it's hard to get everyone to talk sometimes (especially when there's nine or more people in an issue, like most of the Shadow Pack ones). Image

I concur, Rob. I have always liked Sonic and even when growing up, I loved the cartoons of Sonic every weekday morning. So youd think Id be positively biased towards the Sonic online comic. Well I was, but now that Ive read it, theres nothing funny about it. There are much worse out there, like Pupkin  , but it doesnt deserve to be the number 1 comic. I mean if a Sonic fan doesnt enjoy it, who will?

Anyway....the plot is getting quite interesting. And thats important aswell. Cause now Im not only reading the comic for the laughs....Im wondering whats going to happen next.
