You won't be able to enter anyway. Need to be granted access
How do you get acces? If you cant login and ask for it how are you supposed to get it?

Over here. Ask for permission. Need to be either a ranger or a druid though...
People! Although we ain't no brainless mages or thieves, we need to keep this topic up. Without spamming! I will never tolerate spamming.
So, let's start with something interesting. What are your character's stats? Your rangers/druids, I mean.
I'll start with mine. This is my BG character I started in BG1, and then imported in BG2. These are his stats at the end of BG2:
Gabriel
human male
ranger/cleric
level 8 /level 20
neutral good
AC -8 (I think)
THACO (no idea)
STR 25 (Crom Faeyr, normally 19: BG1 tome)
DEX 18 (19 with tome, then lost 1 in Hell)
CON 19 (tome)
INT 11 (12 with tome, then lost 1 in dream)
WIS 22 (3 tomes, 1 in Hell)
CHA 20 (Ring of Human Influence + Helm of Glory + Plate of Balduran, normally 11: tome and 1 in Hell)
main equipment:
Crom Faeyr
Flail of Ages
Plate of Balduran
Helm of Glory
Amulet of Power
Ring of Gaxx
Cloak of Mirroring
Moondog Figurine

ahhh, lovely... my people have a space of their own...
I don't have the stats for my current Totemic Druid handy, but I would like to show off the party I'm currently leading as exemplifying the spirit of this troupe:
ME (T.Druid)
Jaheira
Cernd
Minsc
Valygar
Jan
...this is my second time through, and I do get a little sad with each magic item I'm forced to leave behind, and battles are significantly more challenging with only half a mage in the party, but the interactions are groovy, and I enjoy wandering the town with 4 or 5 dogs and cats in tow...
it is kind of a pain in the ass that the druid levels so slowly late in the game without getting the benefits that AD&D has to account for the high experience needed to advance...

My party then:
Me (ranger/cleric)
Minsc
Keldorn
Valygar
Minsc
Imoen
A fighter oriented party, but a very good one at that! With each character wielding the best weapons they can wield:
Me: Crom Faeyr + Flail of Ages
Minsc: Vorpal Sword
Keldorn: Carsomyr
Valygar: Celestial Fury + Blackrazor
Mazzy: Gesen Bow
Imoen: Tansheron's Bow
Decent!

Greetings to all!
I have opted to leave the safety of the shadows for a while and present myself to the Brotherhood of the Woods for induction.
I am Amphibius, a devoted Ranger/Cleric and this is my very first post to this message board (though I have been lurking for quite some time now both here and at the now defunct BGDungeon Tavern). Just thought it was high time that I show myself and join in the fun. So how about it? Am I in?

First explain me your ranger/cleric.
You know, levels, stats, etc. He has to be decent enough to be a part of our Brotherhood.

@The_Pope : What do you thing about founding Archipriests High Council (Clerics and Druids allowed) ?
I'm sure that there are more clerics that would like to join normal priests Council - not something like Edwin's Mages council.
(Edwin&Dude opened Shadow Mages guild last time - mages-thieves union)
After that every normal cleric (even evil one or mage/cleric) will not join thieves&mages guild.

Ok, I confess that I have yet to finish the game. I do have 3 games running simultaneously right now (It's a weird quirk, I like to restart and build characters).
Game 1:
Ranger (human)
Neutral Good
Level 10 (I think)
STR:18/? (can't remember)
DEX:18
CON:18
INT:8 (I think, or some low value)
WIS:18
CHA:9 (I think, I always wear the ring of human influence)
Game 2:
Ranger/Cleric (half-elf)
Neutral Good
Level 9 (both, I think)
STR:18/? (can't remember)
DEX:18
CON:18
INT:10 (also some low value)
WIS:18
CHA:8 (again I always wear the ring of human influence)
Game 3:
Ranger/Cleric (human)
Neutral Good
Level 8 (both so I'm about to unlock my ranger skills)
STR:18/47
DEX:18
CON:18
INT:18
WIS:18
CHA:5 (again the ring of human influence)
* I got a really great roll for this last one IMHO!
I like the fact that Ranger/Clerics can actually cast all the priest spells (including druid spells)! I also, especially love the Moondog Figurine! My first character for BG2 was actually a Beastmaster cuz I really wanted to summon a lot of creatures but when I discovered that there's a limit to the number of summoned creatures that you can have at one time, I stopped playing that character. Too bad really

I am sorry to report that I must ask for permission to leave this guild. Since Pe Ell isnt really the name of my ranger I can no longer be a member. Pe Ell is actually my assassin so from now on that is what I will be, here and on every other board.

Members of the Brotherhood that wish to meet other members in our official forum (we're an
intersital guild
), go to Talon's Place. And ask for
official membership in the Brotherhood of the Woods thread, in the Neverwinter Nights forum.
If you don't want to look for the thread, in case it has moved a couple of pages, this is the URL: http://server41.hypermart.net/talonsplace/cgi-bin/ikonboard//topic.cgi?forum=16&topic=78
I except our most loyal members there soon.
Note: This is only applicable for members of the Brotherhood of the Woods, not those of the League of Divinity. Of course, if you change your class to ranger or druid (single/multi/dual), you can join.

I forgot to mention that you'll have to register in order to post, but that's no big deal, is it?

Damn craig, you must be an archeologist to dig up a post buried this deep.
I’m sure the Pope will be glad to have you, as the Shadow Mages have eclipsed all the other guilds on this board (including its own forebears the Council of Mages and the Shadow Guild!
) Though I sort of miss the Brotherhood and the League. It’s a shame they vanished. (Or at least migrated to another board)

Well, Talon's Place has been closed a while ago... It has been reopened recently, but all messages were deleted.
Hmm... first we had BGDungeon, it was shut down... we moved to other boards, one of them was shut down as well... Just my luck. This thing was never meant to be a spam guild anyway. We'll be back when NWN is released, then we'll show the others, we'll show 'em good...
