I’m hoping for a seriousness level similar to The Princess Bride. Silly and comedic, but still capable of some real drama here and there. Notice, I've been trying to flesh out the characters more (we learn a little about Arudin's background here).

Yeah, I hate pinecones too! I do have a New Years ep planned, but unfortunately I'm using 99% of my storage space, so even if I had one ready to go right now I couldn't post it. So in the next hours I've got to decide whether to upgrade to a pay site and get more space or just open another Geocities account (probably the former, since it's not that expensive). You also gotta remember that I'm on Alaska time, so it may seem like I'm getting them up late, but really I'm on time by Alaska standards.

An excellent notion, especially since that was my intention all along. I try to set up eps a little in advance (like having them go to the inn on Christmas). That way it doesn’t interrupt the story flow and yet is still in the spirit of the holiday.

I've never seen this Gollum pic in the trailers. They only give you a few quick blurry shots (New Line has been a bit anal about keeping Gollum's appearance secret). Your absolutely right about people seeing the movie, though.

Is the Top Web comics site down? Because my comp cant load the page to vote for DCI.

Seems like everythings been on the fritz today. Top Web Comics, Geocities, my connection, the Speed Channel (as in racing, not the drug ) I guess theres a y2k3 bug out there.
