How did Mac and Ganelon and what ever TLoZ or whatever Kayless wrote with a Z at the end come about in this conversation?

What is TLOZ?

The Legend of Zelda. :D And it happened because Nippy asked about it. ;)

Im sorry. Ive never owned any Nintendo system, never planned to, and probably never will. A repurcussion to this, and IMO, not a terrible repurcussion, is that Ive never played Zelda and probably never will.

Ouch!
You got a problem with Nintendo or something?
What's been your console of choice over the years?

You really should do yourself a favor and head down to Funcoland and pick up a SNES. You probably also missed all of the fabulous Squaresoft titles (Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, the Final Fantasies) and a bunch of other great games. Did the world ever really need more than 16 bits?

BTW, what'er happened to the Tavern of Games thread?

No. I just havent found it the best console out at any given time.

I originally owned a Sega Genesis, then moved over to Sony and PS1 and then PS2.

RE: Did the world ever need more then 16 bits: Yes. Though Sonic is very good and timeless. (Is he 16 bits?)

Ill bump it for you.

The Genesis version, yeah.

How could you live without knowing the joy of traveling Mushroom Land or Hyrule? I can't imagine never facing Ganon or Bowser or Mother Brain. If it wasn't for my experience with the Nintendo (in it's various incarnations) there would be no DCI! :D

The N64 Zelda Ocarina of Time has the best boss fight ever. Not in terms of difficulty, but the sheer ambiance is awesome. Thunder and lightning exploding over a ruined castle with lava hundreds of feet below while Ganondorf becomes Ganon for the first time (chronology speaking)… Too cool! :D

Dungeon Crawl Inc. - It's the most fun you can have without three midgets and a whip!

That's not what I meant.
Kam's link:
http://www.topwebcomics.com/vote.php?Ac ... ID=Kayless

This way you still go to your page, but via topwebcomics.
This way you get an extra hit.

Cunning... no?

Well this links to the vote page. I'm not sure about what Kam's links are. You'll have to check with him. :o ;)

Argh...

No no no.
When you post a "New episode is up" with a link, you link it directly to your site.
But if you do it via top web comics, they give you another hit at your out count.

Kam does that with his link.

So I thought that if you give us a notice when the next episode is up you should use kam's link: http://www.topwebcomics.com/vote.ph...=Out&ID=Kayless
and not: http://www.geocities.com/dungeoncrawlinc/index.html

You can also change your sig to this!

Get it? :D

Yah, me too! Zelda and Metroid are so the greatest games of all time! Damn I´d like to try out the new Metroid Prime for the gamecube, but I can´t afford to buy a GC, nor am I willing to as it will be outdated in no time...

Ganon in tOoT was just awesome! And playing metroid and getting all those new weapons, not mentioning the grappling beam and speed boots really gave you the feel of playing a top-quality game. :)

The SNES has to be my favorite console, hence my large collection of roms, including metroid and zelda. :D

Oh, and BTW, nice ep there, Kay. Though I agree that Khag´s line is kinda out of place. ;)

I cant say that I do....

@Kayless Well at least Nintendo does have a positive...it helped you create DCI.

But I have never even experienced any Nintendo game, beyond commercials. When I went over friends houses, and they played Nintendo games, I either just sat in the corner and watched or amused myself elsewhere.

Yay! Someone noticed my cunning plan! :p

My voted link is to TWC "In" page, and the Dungeon Crawl Inc. link is to the "Out" Page, so clicking on my link adds another count to the "Out" votes. Not that that helps you up the list, but bigger numbers are always better, no?

Sounds somewhat similar to the plan Pupkin had, before he was banned from Top Web Comics for cheating.

Best news I've had all day! Tell more please? :D

EDIT: I thought that POS of a comic had a slightly large votes/goodness ratio... :p

Huh? Tell you more of the story?

Well he was caught tampering with the vote process. I think he made it so he skipped past the confirmation page. So TWC banned him from TWC privaledges. Good riddance.

Really? Hmmm... That's nefarious. :p

Oh well. Too late to change it now (well not really, but I don't like fiddling with an existing comic unless I have too).

Very odd. I was playing Donkey Kong when I was three and Nintendo was always a part of childhood lifestyle (and adult lifestyle as well). ;)

I'm glad Pupkin is gone, since it sucked ape wang. Though I hope DCI doesn't follow the same suit... I appreciate the enthusiasm, but let's be careful here folks. :D

So, so true. TWC specifically allows you to vote every day, only things like bypassing the IP check like Pupkin did is illegal... :)

Yeah, I also think he was doing something else (I think something having to do with his brother's site somehow). It was odd seeing a sub-par comic on the top like that.

Sub-par? SUB-PAR??? Come on, you can do better than that on the old insulting front..."ape wang" was a good start :p
