Speak of the Devil, and all that... :D

That is understandable. Over here in Connecticut, we did get some nasty (by other people's terms) snowfall earlier this month, but some blasted cold front had to come in and wash it away with rain. Of course, from my tone, I suppose (even though I drive and have a job) that you do understand that I love snow very much, even at 19 (20 by Tuesday). ;)

Edit: And honestly, Kayless, aside from my favorite televised cartoon (Have you heared of/watched one from the '80s called The Transformers?) and another cartoon I've found on the web, DCI is something that really puts a smile on my face, especially when things are feeling a little down (like when work is REALLY hectic). I'm serious!

They're only trying to bolster Kayless' mood, since his sole companions in wintry Alaska are three polar bears that come in once a week for a game of poker. And they all cheat better than he does.

No, we need our fix of DCI. It's superior. :)

But it's Monday. DCI updates on Fridays. If I updated DCI on Monday then I'd have to do Star Quest on Friday and then the whole universe would implode. Image

Who, me? Image

My only gripe is that Kayless only draws about half as much in each SQ episode, so you get more bang for your buck in the DCI episodes, making DCI my preference as well.

Yes, but drawing a SQ issue is so much more restful for me. :D

That would give me this Friday off. Hmmm.... :)

I love the snow too, but too much of it all at once is never a good thing. The 7 foot snowman I made a few weeks back now looks like a mound with arms.

We aim to please. :) Fun fact: In Star Quest, Jack's room was originally going to have Optimus Prime, Skeletor, and Cobra Commander in the background as he talked about Ninja Turtles. I ran out of time/willpower to add them though. But Transformers rock!

And harder to draw. :p It would be so much easier if I had made DCI the length of say, a Far Side comic. :D

Maybe you should hire help. I'm sure most of the people up here would be pretty cheap. I'd help, but my drawing skills usually invoke something out of the fourth dimension. I'm really, really bad.

I would like to point out that today is Tuesday. But tomorrow is Christmas Eve, which many people have off. In fact my whole company takes tomorrow off. Since today is the day before Christmas Eve, and everyone in my office has tomorrow off, today feels just like Friday. So where's the new DCI? :D

Needless to say, it's Friday. Again.

There will now be a pregnant pause, awaiting the arrival of Dr. Kayless for delivery.

I find this image to be very disturbing....

Evil, good, who cares...? I am still of the opinion that Teagan has a body to die for.

Ah, yes, a good continuation with the action!

BTW, are we ever going to find out what that glowing bauble is for?

You actually expect the maliciously grinning frog to give you a reply?

:D

I will say that yes, eventually the purpose of the glowing evil marble will be revealed.

No she won't, because their fates are now intertwined. Know this Drow, if my friend perishes, you die with him.
Y'know, this is a really great bit of scripting, but the lame-o actor playing Arudin just doesn't sell it to me. Its like watching Mickey Rooney do Shakespeare or Tom Jones singing Burning Down the House*. He's like "Dude! Where's my talent?" I'm sorry, but I really hope they fire the casting director.

:D

* This really happened! Ug.

Hey! I thought Rooney was *great* as Puck!

Well, the only other Sun Elf that auditioned for the part left when he learned that the Archdruid would be bodyslamming him at one point in the story. Kay didn't have much of a choice. :D
