Here's a quick sketch a drew on a whim, featuring Beatrice and an updated Castor. Image If I ever switched DCI to a hand drawn comic, the characters would probably look something like this.

Not at all..you are a very good cartoonist......I think it would add a lot to your comic if you did draw the cells...I would like to see it :D

Why thanks you. :) I've thought about switching to the old pen and pencil, but for now sprites are easier. But someday... :D

Neato supremo!

Seriously though, its good. Must be quite time consuming to make such comics, though.

Whichever you have more fun with, go for it. I think that drawing is an improvement over the last time you drew. Of course there is a beautiful woman drawing in this one, so that may or may not have persuaded me. :D ;)

I'd imagine. The odd sketch is easy, but doing a whole strip daily or weekly would get rather time consuming.

I guess you'll really like my next sketch then: Naked naughty nymphs frolicking in the woods while Castor peeps on them from the bushes. Image

P.S. So does Castor still look like a 14 year old boy? :D

That cinches it then. I’m switching to hand drawn art and changing the comic’s name to Naked Nymphs Inc. Image

Hey! On a a semi-serious note, I just thought of a hand drawn comic that I can do in only a couple of frames (that wouldn't really work in sprite format). :D I think I'll get cracking on that and see what it looks like. :)

I concur. Just dont alternate between sprite and hand drawn too much. It would get pretty confusing. :D

The hand-drawn strip I'm working on probably won't be included in the regular comic. Friday’s issue will be sprite generated as usual (Maybe I should withhold the hand-drawn one until I'm ready to convert the whole strip). :D

Nooooooo...

That pic was very good, K - I wouldn't mind seeing a hand-drawn comic stuck in there every so often...

I concur. But if you convert to it, theres pretty much, no turning back....

Or you could consider making DCI 2 hand-drawn ;) :D
