Yeah. That would take a lot of time an maintainance, though. I mean to draw 2 comics, have 2 plots, maintain 2 websites, or crowd the same website twice as much...things that I wouldnt want to go through...

BTW-shouldnt you be at school, Z? Im so unaccustomed to seeing you around the forums at this hour...

Yup. Half the classes, twice the seriousness of the work, so it evens out. I started in September, then semester ended Dec 19th. Class resumes on Jan 23rd and ends May 9th. Thats my college year in general, though, for all intensive purposes, I will have Fridays and Tuesdays off. (Tuesday I have but one class).

Well, more like you have to read all this stuff and then the teacher gives a brief lesson about 100 pages of killer Calculus :(

True all we ever do in this thread is spam and talk about DCI (which is also spam so....)

@Garaz Well I wont be taking another math class ever again! I took statistics and got a disappointing B+, but nontheless, I passed, and so Ive fulfilled my credits for math.

But heres how Ive figured it to work, and Ive only been around for 1 semester, so I may have to critique this come May... I go to class, get lectured, take notes, read about those same notes in the $110 dollar text book, occassionally have to do an exercise along with it, and then the rest of the time I can slack off. Im not in an aggressive school like Harvard or anything. Hell, Im not that smart. So Im sure they have different stories to tell.

The text readings can go anywhere from 10 pages to 50 pages depending on what class, what difficulty and how rough the teacher is. If you slip behind, then the amount of text readings you need to get caught up on can be enormous amounts from 50 to maybe even 150 pages, if you have REALLY gotten yourself in a hole.

That's along the lines of what I heard. You've got to do a lot of studyin on your own.

Yes. And except for the class I am a major in, I do a half arse job of doing that. :D You could tell what classes I tried in and which ones I didnt...

Tyb's semester 1 grades:
Stats: B+
US Hist. Since Recon: B-
World Regional Geography: A
Chemistry: C-

Woohoo! Score one for slacking off! :D

BTW, Z...why havent you posted your picture yet? Hmmmm?

Quite impressive.

Actually I know nothing about that system but, C- isn't great is it? And A is... Logically

We go:

03
5
6
7
8
9
10
11
13

03...sucks. you might as well have stayed home

13...Extremely good. Takes something really special to get this. Building a canoe or something :D

@Ty.....
A) I'm too lazy
B) I don't have a scanner
C) Don't have photoshop or anything like it
D) I'm too lazy :D

BTW - I see why you want to major in geography. A b+ in college is pretty good right?

We go by percentage/letter. A = 86%, B = ? C = ? F = < 50%

Well let me translate into percentages and general words so that it can be a universal language.

A- to an A........90-100% Tops
B- to a B+........80-89% Above average
C- to a C+........70-79% Average
D- to a D+........60-69% Below average, not too good
F.......................59% and below You failed the class, you bloke! What were you thinking, you slacker!

@Z a B+ is good anywhere. But at college, since the bar has been raised it is very good. The reason why I was disappointed is because I ACED EVERYTHING in that class. But I forgot to turn in a project...so that murdered my grade. Stupid SPSS.

Ouch....one project huh? Teacher's don't pull that kind of stuff on us in high school :D They give the 'ol minus 10% per week or something like it. They're pretty strict in university , but they have to be I guess.

We get an average of our work in one term... So forgetting to turn in a project can crash your grade right down the drain.

We get an average too, but if we forget to hand a project in, they'll give us another shot (with consequences).
