-Yoshimo
but I know that Yoshimo will betray the party in chapter 4 so is there any way that I can prevent from Yoshimo betraying the party?

Nope, just swap Yoshimo for Jan whenever he dies. That is the best option, maybe the only, unless you want goodaligned members

Actually, I read a post once, which said that Yoshi can be saved. Just cast that "flesh to stone"-spell or whatever it is that transforms one to stone. Haven't tried it myself though, but someone said it works.

While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. I recall reading a post one that said Yoshi can actually be saved. Just use that "flesh to stone"-spell or whatever the spell's name is. The one that turns one to stone. Haven't tried it myself though, but still, I would try if I wanted to keep him.

In the end of the game you talk to your characters a lot, what they think and so on, and since he isnt supposed to be there it might be buggy..

And to use a bug to keep him.. well, if you want to do it, do it

How to finish the game with Yoshimo:
  • Pick up Yoshimo in the dungeon
  • Do all the pre-Spellhold quests to get the most out of him
  • Cut him loose just before going to Spellhold
  • When returning from Spellhold, go to the Copper Coronet with 5 party members max.
  • The game autosaves before entering so you won't be able to mess up the next step:
  • Enter the Copper Coronet, and immediately pause, then talk to him while paused.
  • Unpause, and the protagonist will walk to him and he will talk. The death script has been overridden.
  • Invite him back into the group.
  • He will die immediately of the geas, but because he's in the group, have Vicky or a temple bring him back.
  • Enjoy Yoshimo-quality thieving for the rest of the game.

Thanks Kevin! An easier strategy than having to turn him to stone. How about later bugs? Also, will you be able to "import" him with that new ability in Throne of Baal?

No idea...if you're supposed to summon anyone, then you should be able to whether he's alive or dead (plenty of the other NPC's manage to get themselves killed anyways throughout the game) but they did "write him out" of the story. Good question...wondering how BioWare will answer it.
