Help With Alchemy (potions)

Post by leasa »

Hi There,
hoping someone could answer question for me please...I am probably overlooking something very simple, but for some reason, I am having a challenge making potions...seems that I have all the ingredients, but only certain potions are highlighted and allow me to create them. ie: Dagon Sap, Kikimore's Ire, Wolverine...I realized in one instance I was not using the correct "base", so corrected that to ensure "strong, high-quality alcohol" is used, but thought I had enough of everything else...any other thoughts? Suggestions? Like I said, I am probably just missing someting really simple, but AAARRRRGGGG....

It's probably the base. Some alcohols say they're high quality, but they're not good enough for all potions. You need really high quality alcohol (the ones that cost 50 gold rather than 20-30) for certain potions, like the special boss potions and swallow. If you can't find the best alcohols, you can also make white gull, which I think is good enough for all potions.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."
