I've had the game for a while on Microsoft 2000, it worked perfectly fine. Now, after I create my character, I click 'done', the game loads and then the screen suddenly minimizes, and an error message pops up saying something like: "Runtime Error" and then a bunch of random letters and numbers. The game and the message suddenly dissapear as soon as I click 'OK' or 'Cancel'. Can someone please help me, I'm extremely frustrated!
Are you still running windows 2000, or did you switch to another version? If you are using a different windows version you might want to change the compatibility mode of BG II to windows 2000.
Did you download and install the last official patch?
