** SPOLIER ** Lost in a Gate once again.

Post by rcRaCer »

Hey all

Lost in a gate once again. maaan it seems I am lost more in this game than any I have ever played. anyways.. I am in Portal of Natural Disaster.. I have been thru Eruption, Tsunami, HUrricane, Tornado, and Landside and seem to be just wandering around in circles inside the Portal now with no idea on what to do next and no compass to kinda show me the way...any help appreciated. About ready to just give up on this...

Thanks

Al

You can find a walkthrough of that OG here

I suspect your currently (going by your description) in the main tower, having accessed it by a bridge form one of the other, outer towers. You can actually jump over the railing onto the ground floor and then treat it like any other main tower. However, you should be able to see another shelf immediately below you (you should see it from either of the 'Punishment' bags). It only goes halfway around the tower, so jump in the wrong spot and you have to go all the way to the ground, which can be fatal if you don't have much health. If you position yourself right though you should be able to jump to the shelf I referred to. Then exit through the correct door, the one that doesn't lead to the outside, Hall of Rendering or something like that, then make your way to the top and your free.

I know Galraen pretty much just gave you your answer but if your on one side of the the whole gate and you see the way out of it on the other side of a large amount of lava, I sometimes swim across the lava and as I get hurt, I just use strong potions of healing.

I tend to do that at gates 1, 3 and 4,just save before you jump into the lava in case you don't have enough health. It does save time, but it also means you get less opportunity to loot. If it's only sigil stones your interested in though lava swimming does save a lot of messing about.

On gate 2 though the quickest way is to just head straight for Tsunami, the north -west tower, to your right as you enter Oblivion. Go to the top, cross the bridge to the Portals of Natural Disaster, carefully jump down to the next level, then work your way up.

PS I also occasionally flat out cheat. If I enter a gate and find it's the same random gate as the last onw, which ws the same gate as teh one before that, and I can't stand the thought of doing the same gate all over again, I just use the console and type TCL and go straight for the Sigil stone, I usually then dump the stone, unless it's too tempting.
