Entering Karga?

Post by Claudius »

I want to work for Karga because I think Skeldens are against the king. But the thing is the only way I can enter I figure is to get a reputation pt with them or kill the guard. I am playing an ethical character so I don't want to kill the guard. The other way is to gain reputation but the only way is to plot the capture of Thabarkin which I wouldn't support until I knew that Skelden was plotting against the King. I killed the guard to find out what was going on but now I want to go back. Is there any other way to gain a Karga reputation pt?
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Every faction has guys around who give quests that reward you with reputation. You just have to find the Karga guys. One I remember is the guy who wants you to help him get inside Tharbakin. He's just to the south of the town.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Thanks, I think I misunderstood that quest when I came across it. I thought the Karga people wanted inside the Thabarkin so they could kill everyone in the town! I guess they just wanted to spy or something??
