Confused?

Post by jaydip »

Well i bought this game just a few days ago and i am already hooked into it. :)
I have some questions regarding some builds and your kind help is highly appreciated.
1)I plan to go for Adept/Paladin/Crusader/Fighter/Samurai.
Is it a viable char?
2)I have found that the identify skill is very important indeed. But none of my class gets it.so will it be a problem later on?(suppose i just have to reload multiple times to get some preferred things)
3)to get identify i may substitute paladin with celestial but then i would loose heavy armor.
4)is crushing blow better than critical strike?

Thanx for your help in advance :D

1. That structure works.

2. Shopkeepers can identify items, so it's not a huge deal. I'd just stick with the classes you like best.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

3. Covered by SWC's answer to 2.

4. I prefer Critical Strike. At a high level (8+) it has a pretty high chance of killing average guys in the mob (thieves, soldiers). Granted, Critical Strike will not work against bosses, while Crushing Blow might work against them. Since I get mobbed more often than I have to fight bosses, I have more use for Critical Strike.

But all that is just personal preference.
