Weakness Formula?

Post by geodrummer55 »

Hey,

Does anybody know the formula that oblivion uses to calculate damage done by say... fire damage to someone with say... 50% weakness to fire?

Thanks

I think that's on the UESP wiki.

So you're saying if you throw a fire ball with X amount of power, at someone with 50% resistence, how much damage is actually inflicted correct?

I would assume 1/2 of what X is but I'm not certain.
I only post with personal exp. So I will not answer anything about the dark brotherhood, and easter eggs.

It would make the most sense... Unless you have more resistances. (I forgot, is there a resistance against magic?). X power/2, if you have 50 % against say fire, and if the X power is fire.
