yoshimo's 2 weapon styles points

i started a new game couple days back and yoshimo leveled up and gained 3 unexplained stars on 2 weapon style can anyone tell what causes this to happen?

wow he leveled up again, to level 12 and got a new proficiency point and at the same time he gained a point on long sword, i put the point on scimitar and now he has a total of 9!!! proficiency points for being pure bounty hunter. seriously what is going with him.

right now his weapon proficiencies look like this:
Long Sword *
Katana *
Scimitar *
Dagger *
Short Bow *
Single Weapon Style *
Two Weapon Style ***

someone plz tell me what's going on

did you install rogue rebalancing?

i only have the official patch installed. the strangest thing is he gains those points by himself automatically when he levels up.
