hearing+calling shot

Post by Da_venom »

Hi
I have a question about hearing
what exactly does it do?
gamewise(possibly for hearing opponent at a longer distance but does it do anything else)

since i can't find any description about it

furthermore
somewhere i read that the calling shot doesn't work
is this also in the latest patch that the skill doesn't work?

and you can have unlimited skill points?(in case of using books and such to enhance those skills)
or is there a max to your level?

thanks in advance

Hearing is just that; you'll hear enemies sooner: skeleton bones clacking, orcs grunting, etc. Enemies also have a hearing stat that will alert them to your presence; if they hear you engaged in battle they might come over to investigate. It's really not that important, not nearly as important as your 'sight' level.

True shot is the broken bow skill; it simply doesn't work, even in the latest patch 1.34. Playing with a bow is still viable, though, since there are other skills that will power-up your bow considerably.

You can find spell books (only for wizard spells though) to increase your skill levels before you meet the required level, but all skills in the game are capped at level 5. Beyond level 5 using a spell book is a waste. They sell for a pretty good price if you don't need the skill though.
