Hey guys...i'll make this as short and sweet as possible. I'm not the most tech savvy person and i just bought a new HP desktop. It's got 8GB of RAM and the latest nvidia graphics card. i have my comp and game on the highest resolution settings but things are still BLURRY!! ARG!
the game is running smoothly but the icons that come up are blurry so are my items and my health + blood meter. Also the loading screens are hella blurry. And not only that but I'm getting that annoying pink checkers pattern on the bus maps in SM. Ive got the the latest patch installed.
Can anyone help me?? Please??
I've never had this problem with any of my old computers.
Oh and i saw that in the control panel you can play around with the nvidia settings but i have no clue what any of them do.
Thanks much in advance!!
AH!! Please help!
You've found the nvidia settings page? Look around in there for "Anti-Aliasing" - Anti-Aliasing is a way that a computer can make a screen slightly blurry to hide any sharp edges you might get on your screen - it sounds like you might have yours turned up too much.
If you find the Anti-Aliasing setting, set it to "0" or "2x" - anything higher could cause the problems you've described.
Of course, it might be something else, but it's worth checking the A-A.

Your problem are the 8 GB RAM which Bloodlines can't handle. Either limit the RAM to <= 4 GB via some utility or use the fixing tools included with the unofficial patch.
