First, I'll explain that I prefer to patch games manually because I'm on dial-up and patching takes hours so I don't want to have to repeat it if I need to re-install at any stage.
I've just installed NWN2 and MotB, and patched up to 110 1115 using tnt's MODFIX files from the vault. The game seems to be working fine, I just want to know what advantages there are to using later patches. I don't play multiplayer and don't create mods.
