How do i get beast into betiary ?

How do i get beast into betiary ?

I got some quests but can't complete because the beasts are not in my bestairy. how do i fix it ?

Generally, you need to find a book about that type of monster. Antiquaries sell them, sometimes other characters may have them, and sometimes you can loot them from chests and shelves.

Just read the book and then sell it. Your journal will update with info on fighting the monsters and you'll be able to skin their corpse for items.

Lucky that I'm playing the Witcher the second time, so I can answer this.

Abigail, the witch, will give you Berengar's Notes and reading it will register the Beast into your Glossary as a 'Hellhound'.
