Luck affect enchant skill?

Post by Uriel »

I'm hoping that luck is a part of enchating which lets you store alot of constant effect spells. Like if i wanted to do a shield armor. Is there a way to make it do 100 shield and still have room for more spells? And if not, how can i make it so i can store tons of stuff on an armor piece with 7 enchant space? I have it on the xbox so i cant mod anything. So plz tell me if i can make an ultimate defensive armor piece. :D

In short... no.

Armour doesn't hold any half decent enchantment. Instead use exquisite jewellery. Luck affects everything so it'll probably help a little bit.

The following may be a *SPOILER*

Yes, Luck does affect Enchant, but not too much to worry about it, unless you have a LOT of luck. I haven't tried the following with X-Box, but it does work on the PC...
Get any Fortify Attribute spell and Soultrap. Go to a spellmaker and make a spell with Fortify Luck, Self, both sliders to 30% and don't touch the duration... leave it at 1. Don't buy it yet, add Soultrap, Target, and leave the duration at 1. Now name it and buy it. Depending on your level and Personality and all, this spell will only cost around 13 gold, with maybe a 4 Magicka points to cast with a 18 percent chance to actually cast it. Find a private place away from others, choose your new spell to cast, look straight down and start casting away. The only way this works is if you look straight down. Keep casting it until it works and then check your stats. Your Luck has jumped by 30 points and it will be permanent!! Other stats will be affected also. Do it as many times as you like to keep adding 30 points, even over the 100 cap. Try it with other spells and more points.
Try the same with other stats spells and you might make a low-level one-hitter beast.

I also use Summon spells... like Summon Golden Saint, Self, duration 1 with Soultrap Target, duration 1. Permanent Golden Saint that you can kill with a Soultrapping weapon to fill a Grand Soul Gem so that you can enchant items with a Constant Effect (like a ring to Levitate until you take it off), and a body that you can keep the loot from. Golden Saints usually carry Glass weapons, Skeletons carry iron stuff, Dremora have Dwemer, Ebony or Daedric stuff... and they WILL all fight back. But try it with a Summon Skeleton Minion or Summon Ancestor Ghost first to fill some Common Soul Gems to Enchant items with or sell to Creeper... Golden Saints are not that easy to kill unless you got good stats and a good weapon with the Soultrap, Target, Cast When Strikes enchantment and a few Restore Health pots.
It might work on X-Box, I dunno. Post a yes or no after you try it a few times, okay?

I wouldn't try the above method. It has caused countless problems with peoples' games to the extent of forcing reinstalls.
