Problem w/ Abbot in Oakfield Quest ***Possible Spoiler***

Having a problem with the Abbot NOT giving me the continuation of the quest. As soon as I reached Oakfield, I noticed that the glowing trail was gone. Once I found the Abbot in the Temple of Light (awhile later after I located all the chests/digs/keys/gargoyles and spent some time messing around), I walked into the Temple and the gameplay kind of slows down like it's ready to to commit to some dialogue, but nothing happens. The Abbot just stands there with Doofus Monk and Dorkus Monk and doesn't continue the Quest.

Anyone experience this, have a suggestion on how to fix this? Did I miss something? I'll leave Oakfield and the glowing trail appears again, leading me back to Oakfield.
