I have killed the queen 4 times in a row ,after alot of tries and I hit the beams .
When I see them start to go I pause and spin the camera around so I am headed out.
I start running to get in the clear and have succeeded 4 times .
The yellow banner comes up and says quest complete the unforgiven and at the bottom of the yellow banner it says I got to find a way out .
This is while I am still in pause .
I stop becuase I know I have to loot her.
The blue blinker is blinking on the side of the screen .I hit that and it confims that part of quest is over and it states I have got to get out of here.
please dont quote me on the sceen sayings word for word.
I am well out of the way of any debri and the game confirns the kill.
As soon as I come out of pause I drop dead in my tracks.
this all occurs well after the fact.
Is there any thing I can do aside from tossing this monitor through the wall?
I just turned around after the game updated and told me the quest was completed.I did this to get a look at the queen I have done this 3 times
I watched her go down and every time as soon as she finally hit the ground and died my vitality goes to zero and I die and I am well out of the way
And ,Yes I read all of your walkthroughs word for word
kiki queen
You shouldn't need to run anywhere after knocking down the beams. You should be standing in the tunnel beyond the main chamber at the time, and you should be safe there. If you haven't checked it out yet, you might want to look at our walkthrough for the sequence.whitetail wrote:I have killed the queen 4 times in a row ,after alot of tries and I hit the beams. Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Looking at the Main forums (over on thewitcher.com), I found a way.
Don't forget to save both before entering the first corridor, and after the queen's death.
Oh, and in case it isn't obvious, spoiler tags in place. Highlight to read.
Spoiler
When the cutscene that shows the Queen rising to chase you ends, drink a Blizzard potion and run like there are 12 kinds of demons behind you (not an illogical assumption, all things considered). When you get to the main chamber, you can use the Aard to knock back both the horde AND the supports (Geralt will say that he had better run before the entire Salamadra base falls on his head), then run to the far end of the corridor. Wait there until the dust settles, and the Blizzard wears off. Loot the Queen and continue on.

More help on this.
We really need a detailed how to on this. I was so intimadated by this it took me two months to even try it. And once I did it I really don't know how. I didn't use any potions and I was so rusty I had forgotten what the controls were to maneuver Geralt. I do have the game set on easy. All I know is that I kept moving and casting the Aard.
The real problem is getting past the Kikimore jam before the Queen gets you. They aren't dangerous, but they are in your way and block you. The irritating thing is that I can't replicate getting past them. I bring the roof down on me.
Is this the hardest combat in the game or at least the one that gives people the most trouble?
