Which Nvidia Drivers?

Hi all, I have Fable TLC installed but im experiencing some graphical abnormalities.

My computer specs are:

3.0 Gig processor

1.5 Gig RAM

XP Home SP3

NVidia GeForce 7600 GT (currentlly running driver 175.19)

directX 9.0c

*******************************************

I installed the latest driver for my graphics card which i think is 178.24. It caused so many graphical problems. Such as all the textures and objects being stuffed up. So i reverted to the 175.19. But its really old, Is there a slightlly newer driver that still works with Fable TLC. I tried their site but had problems finding what i was after.

I remember using a 177.92 drivers or something (the one that came with the Geforce Power Pack) a while ago. No problems running Fable the last time I checked.

If you want the WHQL one, there is a 178.13 driver. You can search for them in the 'Beta and Archived Drivers' section in the download driver section.

Thnx for the reply, but the 178.13 also used to cause me problems for Fable TLC. I tried it before the 178.24. Would you know if any of the 177 would work??

It did in my case. I think it's the 177.83 drivers. You will have to check out it's 'The Force Unleashed' pack at the drivers section. That's where I got it.

I checked the archived drivers by doing a search based on my card(7600GT) and OS. I didnt see the driver you mentioned, maybe my card doesnt support it, the results where:

Would you recomend the BETA driver? Its a shame that there is no certified 177 driver for my card.

Well, I am using the 180 beta driver myself and encountered no problems so far (It's for Far Cry 2, btw), so yes, you can install them without any problems. Just be a little bit more careful.

do you mean the glitch were the ground just look like camouflage or something of similarity. well that happens for the x-box version which I have and I just got a newer fable game (not like fable 2 like one that's been recently made) and it still does it
