some questions on mana

Post by silverdragon72 »

...as there are many spells with a need of 500+ mana...

...and my close to 100 Int L20 breton just reaches about 300 mana - what's the best way to increase mana?

...what is/was your highest mana score ever?

I read somewhere that "varla" (?)-Stones (the white ones) increase your magic regeneration - anybody tested this...

...is there another way, besides Willpower, to increase the mana regeneration rate?

Enchant items with Fortify Intelligenc is my preferred method.

They recharge all your magic items, they have nothing to do with mana regeneration. The blue Welkyn stones restore all your mana.

Not as far as I know, but I don't have Shivering Isles so I can't answer for that.

Shivering Isles doesn't change that
There is nothing you can't do, at least if you have enough patience to keep trying.

The higher you skill level in a magic skill (take destruction), the lower the amount of magica a destruction spell will take (take XXX, a spell that does fire damage)

XXX takes 50 magica to cast when you destruction was level 10.
XXX might take 40 magica to cast when your destruction was level 15.
XXX might take 30 magica to cast when your destruction was level 20.
And so on.

XXX IS A RANDOM SPELL THOUGHT UP BY ME. YOU CANNOT BUY IT IN ANY STORE.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face
