Mage Recommendation Chorrol (spoilers)
So I have a problem with the Mage Guild recommendation in Chorrol Quest. I retrieved Fingers of the Mountain and gave it to Teekeeus at the Mage Guild but I forgot to ask him about a recommendation before I stole the book back and gave it to the other mage. Now she has the book and for some reason I can't seem to get a recommendation from Teekeeus, even though my journal tells me I finished the quest. Is this a bug that means I can't join the Mage Guild? Can I fix this with some command maybe?

If the journal says that you have the recommendation then presumably you do have it. Try completing the rest of the ecommendation quests and see what happens, it shouldn't take too long if you concentrate on those alone. If your playing on a PC there are ways around it if necessary, of on a console all you can try to do IF it's necessary is to steal the book back and return it to Teekeeus.

Nevermind, I found the answer on Oblivion Wiki. It seems it's a bug of sorts. I have actually gotten the recommendation, but for some reason the quest arrow still points at Teekeeus for no apparent reason. Thx anyways, mod can delete thread now
