Movie and magic problems
I just got this game and am already having problems. First of all the movies are black, I can hear but can't see, unless it's the captions at the bottom. I can just skip if I hit the enter button but I don't know what I miss. Then I tried going through the tutorial and at the time that I'm suppose to cast Magic Missile, I have 511 missiles to spend. I figured it just might be the tuturial and when into the real game and same thing. I patched the game with 2 and 3. What is wrong here?

The game can be irritating to get set up (see the thread I link to below), but it's soooooo worth it.
The magic missile bug can be fixed if instead of running with patch 2 and 3, you run with patch 2 and the temple.dll fix I outline [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/temple-of-elemental-evil-43/new-to-toee-read-this-first-105528.html"]here[/url].
I am unsure if this will solve your video problem, but try it and see if it does. If not, we'll proceed from there.
