Poison Problem (Belsornig)

I'm at the second mission from Belsornig.
I've killed Alreem.
I have tried
1.putting the poison in his inventory while looting his corpse
2.(successfully)using the poison on him during the fight to his death

And Belsornig still gives me the same "but I asked you to pour the poison" crap.

I feel stupid and powerless...

Well,
I was stupid,
but not powerless.
Problem solved.
