i was trying to install baldurs gate and totsc, the three disc set,
but the program messed up and the the computer thinks the game is
on there but i cant play it, and when i try to uninstall it says that it
is missing a certain uninstall file. i dont know what to do?
Backup your registry. Then enter it using regedit, and use Find on Interplay (assuming this is the only Interplay game you were running) or Baldurs. Right click to delete those keys. Exit, and try reinstalling, again.

thanks for the help man, but i must be an idiot because i dont really understand any of what you said, what is regedit, and how do i back up the registry.
Click Windows Start. Click Run, type regedit. Under File, click export, to export (save) your current registry.
