Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Swcarter knows what he is doing.
swcarter is a good person to trust, He has helped me many times over in this game. Exit E is where the curio shop is. You can get to the chop from when you come into the slum district and go down the first set of stairs, turn right from there you go up the stairs turn left walk over to the balcony and you will find the door to the shop.
Inside you will find the woman who deals with the thieves guild (I think she is person who does the whole business of thievery... been while) you can ask her to join the guild, By then she will give you the key to the custard mansion.
But be warned the custard mansion can be a hard place the first few rounds of the game, there is a wrath in there, Pleeeenty of undead, Bats, Snakes.
you name it, Even spiders. but you can go around and loot all the chests all and all. Id you have a hard time opening chests.
Tip:Use the time crystal, slowing time will give you a good advantage to opening hard to open chests.
Also, If you go down the stairs in the custard mansion you will find two bosses, a Headless brute and a haunt that cut off the brutes head sopposedly to be her husband. The haunt is a pain the gikers, Trust me I know. Even being a level 67 she gives me a bunch of boredom and misery, she freezes you and there for you can't move.
BUT if you go into your inventory and if your not online, it's like pausing the game so she can't attack you while you wait for the effect to wear off.
Hope the info helps, And happy playing.
