experience cap for multiclasses

I realize that this question goes for the entire series, but figured that since I check this forum the most, other people might as well^^

anyway, I want to complete the game from start to end, solo...I want to do this as a triple-class (fighter/mage/thief) but want to set one thing straight first...how does the xp cap work for a triple-class? would it be 8 mil in each class, or only 8 mil total, giving each class 2,66 mill?

The cap is 8 mil total which will be divided on your classes, so your assumption is correct: 2,66 mil per class.

Thus, no level 9 spells for your mage, but you can get a ton of timestop traps - go figure..

You can consider removing the cap though.
