How Attacks Per Round works?

Post by Gorlam »

Hey, I have been playing this game for years now but I still don't quite understand how attacks per round work.

Take my warrior/rogue for example:

5 points into katana 4 points into longsword. Wearing nothing except for a normal katana, main hand, and a normal longsword, offhand, I have 9/2 attacks. When I am hasted I have 5 attacks. Unless I am reading my character sheet wrong, I am LOSING attacks per round when I am hasted?

In reality, 9/2 attacks is a fraction, so its' decimal form would be 4.5 attacks per round. The reason you get five attacks is because that is the cap for non Whirlwind or Improved Haste augmented attacks, though there is at least one exception to that rule.

Oh its a FRACTION, that actually makes a lot more sense now.
