For the past hour or so my NPCs keep on trying to leave the party. I've seen Dynaheir, Minsc, Kivan and Yeslick all leave the party in turn. I don't know why, my rep is at 20 and I play as a good guy.
Now, I did screw up in Baldur by killing a couple Flaming Fist guards and that gave me the Fallen Paladin status, but I did fix that in Near Infinity and restore my rep to 20. Maybe it's a global var screwing things up? I didn't mean to kill those guards but sure enough my main character swings his sword and crits, 1-shotting one of them, why not kill the other after?
Anyone want to take a look at my save or something? I'm not too sure what I should be looking at, but seriously this game isn't functioning as should.
Also, can I import items along with my character to BG2? As in, I've got the best plate from BG (didn't kill the last boss yet) and have been questing the TOTSC quests so I'd like to take those good items with me, or should I just spend all the stat-giving tomes I gained and forget about items?
NPCs leaving the party for no reason?

Well, I would guess that they left because of the Rep, and it probably didn´t help fixing it in NI.Maverique wrote:For the past hour or so my NPCs keep on trying to leave the party. And you can actually import items to BGII. Fill up your character with the items you want to keep, and hit the space-button immediately when starting the game in BGII. Then drop the stuff on the floor from your inventory and continue the game and pick it up. Your inventory is cleared otherwise, but the stuff you drop on the floor will be there for you to pick up.

It all depends on whether you are playing with mods. If you are not there is an exploit that enables you to keep all your items.Maverique wrote: Also, can I import items along with my character to BG2? SPOILER HIGHLIGHT TO READ
If you pause ASAP in BG2 then switch to your inventory, you can drop all your possessions on the floor. Return to the game and unpause. After talking to Imoen, pick up your items.
If you are playing Tutu the above does not work apart from some items that can be obtained from other mods.
