Mira as dark side? (some early spoilers)

I've played through KotoR2 with both light and dark side characters once (unmodded), and now I'm doing it again with a few mods added but I was thinking of getting Mira as a companion for my dark side character instead of Hahnharr to see how she reacts to a dark side. I don't want to have to play the game light side up until the point she joins though, so I was wondering if it's possible to get her to join without being light side or a good way to get just enough light side points to get her to join before going dark again. any idea on what the requirement is? last time I was almost fully dark side when I reached the point one of them joins and so I got Hahnharr, but I'm not sure if he would've still joined if I was only slightly on the dark side

I'm also interested on the same thing but with Hahnharr joining a light side character, though I imagine that would be even more difficult to pull off without cheating

Beyond editing variables for the game (which I have no idea how to do), you're pretty much stuck with trying to be a little lightside until you get Mira, and then going fully darkside.

Do you get Mira if you're strictly neutral? I have a feeling you do.
It's quite annoying that there's no way around this, as I often want a DS character but with Mira in the team, which means always having to go to Nar Shadaa first and then start piling up the DS points. Ho hum.

You can always use a save game editor, note down your light/dark side points, then change to lightside, get Mira, then put the DS stats back in.
