I lost Dranor in when I arrived at Ferndok. He is at the Ducal Citadel, but I can't get in. My companion, Rhulana, said something about the fact that we wouldn't see him again except in jail. Is it possible to get him back? If not and I DIDN'T complete the thieve's guild quest in Avestrue, can I train someone else in pick locks, streetwise, haggle, seduce, disarm traps? (i.e. are these trainers available in Ferndok)?
Thanks
Rob

You'll get a quest to rescue Dranor from prison, but only after you've gotten far enough along in the main quest. While you're in Ferdok, you can add Gladys to your party, and she has all of the rogue skills.
When I played, I had planned to use Dranor as my rogue, but then he was out of my party for so long that I finally started building up Gladys to be my rogue instead, and she ended up being my rogue/healer, and I never used Dranor.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

I thought the traps in the game were pretty weak, and it's pretty easy to heal up characters, so I wouldn't worry about the disarm traps skill too much. I'd say about half of the traps only do like 3 damage.

I had a few kill me instantly - spears from the walls can be nasty buggers. Still, I never bumped the skill up further then 10 - it got me through every trap so far.
Sadly... since I play a burglar, I didn't keep track of who teaches thieving skills around. But I'm certain there are some trainers in Ferdok...

The universe, they said, depended for its operation on the balance of four forces which they identified as charm, persuasion, uncertainty and bloody-mindedness.
