Poll: Most hated BG2 NPC-Character

Post by Ubik »

This is simple: Just post your most hated NPC or character - I wouldn't mind if you could add a line or two about what the reason for hating him/her/it is Image

Viconia....why??? Because of her constant bickering and picking on Jaheira.....

I bet Anomen or Aerie is gonna win this one... Image
Most hated NPC, I dunno I don't think I hate one. I think Hear'dalis is pretty annoying. (Do I look like a bird? Then don't call me a bird, I'm not impressed....) And that sing song voice is annoying too...

I'll think abou it for a while, maybe I'll come up with something better...

haha, **** Ubik, how many NPC bashing threads have we had on this board man?? hahaha, alright, I'll contribute...

*ONE THING* the fact that no romances work all out except for the Jaheira one is very frustrating.... If it wasnt ment to be, why did they include them in the first place *END OF THING*

Aeerie bothers me, a great deal, I had her, and some of the whining I could deal with... But then she gets all bitchy cuz I dont understand how it feels like flying and I said that you can do a lot of fun stuff on the ground too.... Also, she gets all cranky and tell Jaheira to stop romancing me.. and Im like, what did you say bitch?... So she's a definite negative aspect of the game , ALL BY HER SAD SELF.

Keldorn only joins a good party, and if you go into that and only do commit good actions... You have to let him join his family, and therefore giving him up... Thats idiotic too, You have to have a good party to have him, you have to be an evil party to keep him..

Valygar keeps hitting on me, I dunno whats going on man??!

Hear'dalis, I cant use him as a fighter or as a mage(I know, he is a blade so the lore is too low).
My bet is that Aerie and/or Anomen is going to win that one, since I see too many topics were people dont like them.

@Seabass: Many (NPC-bashing topics) went on, but nobody tried to put them all together so we can decide once and for all who is the most hated character in BG2. I shall post my contribution to it later, plus I shall do the count (to save you all some work and effort) and post the results, if we have some serious voting here (numberwise that is)

btw Seabass, would you be so kind and choose one of those three? Image

That's a tought one, so I will take the liberty of voting twice:

Cernd: Equip this good-for-nothing NPC with a garden weasel +2, and might just be able to weed the flower bed. Poor dialog, and I just don't like the look on his face.

Anomen: His parents thought so little of him, they simply gave him the name: 'a name' (anyone know latin?). The only hopeful knight that doesn't have the sense to become proficient with the sword. Need I mention his baditude?
Then darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time

I have to admit that Arie's constant whining gets on my nerves, but Nalia's battle cry "for the needy" (sorry don't like using the same term twice). Drives me nuts.

yes nalia...I hate her War cry too, but is even worst when we are in the keep and she says "how are we helping the less fortunates in here" well nalia you are the one that have lead us here.and when we are giving money to a begger she say "you could have given more"....I pick her up, do her quest and then leave her in the keep.

Cernd! This guy is good for nothing, his werewolf form sucks, he can't wear armor, his voice annoys me and I like seeing him get disintegrated...

Anomen! He is sooo stupid (in my sense: cannot see reality and not live in a real world) and arrogant.

Well, since you said NPC and not party member, I would have to say Neeber in Trademeet. His brother was bad enough in BG1. This guy is just as annoying.

Yoshimo: because if I have to hear "I can dance on the head of a pin" one more time, I'm throwing the damn speakers out the window. He honestly made me turn down the volume on my PC until I could pick up Jan.
