Total noob question about "Raise Dead" ability

So I was in "the hive" with 2 companions, Morte and some other guy, and we were attacked by some thugs. They killed the nameless one after killing my companions and I wake up in the dustman building as usual. At the bottom of the screen, Morte and the other guy now appear as skulls. I know I have the "Raise Dead" ability but now I can't find their bodies where we were killed. Is it possible to still resurrect them at this point or are they lost forever? Any help would be great.

You should be able to select the ability and click on the dead party member's portrait.

Thanks! sorry about that, I assumed you had to do it to their bodies.
