ok, Here is the Scoop, I have done this 8 times and it is getting old, and Very Frustrating.
I am on the last leg of the Oblivion Main Quests, in Paradise. I have The Bands of the Chosen on and I get to Talk with Eldamil (by the Way Eldamil does not show up in the TEC, I am Assuming he is Either High Elf, or Wood Elf from his Appearance) He offers to remove my Bands of the Chosen for me, but he Keeps on Dying when he tries to keep the Dremora Busy. I play along as per the Walk Through, Enter the Cage and all that. but he keeps on dying. I would like to make him Essential but as Mentioned above he is not Appearing in the TEC (
Unless he has a Different Name), I do not know how to use the Console to Make an NPC Essential. Could Some one Help me out Please?

May have Fixed Eldamil (Spoiler!!!!!!!)
Ok, I found Eldamil in the TEC he is under the Name MQ15Eldamil in the Male
High Elf Category. I saved him with my NPC Essential Mod, hopefully this Works but I see no reason why it shouldn't, now that he has been made Essential.

Howdy, Raven Whitehawk!
"Paradise Bugged"?! (Versus "Paradise Lost"!)
Hey, there's something about Eldamill! I was worried about his welfare too. I even enchanted his gear for him, to help him out, only to loose it all.
He is semi-essential! He dies in the quest, but respawns in the next room where he meets you. He and the others are meant to die and respawn as that is life in Paradise. I was relieved to see him again, but mad that I'd wasted money and stones on enchanting his gear for him! When he respawns, it doesn't stay enchanted. In this regard, he's like the "Adoring Fan", until the quest ends. When I bring him with me to Cyrodiil, then I am able to enchant his gear and make him full-essential, and then send him off to a unit. Or like last time, I made him a Blade and let him stay at the fort with the others. With my "Mark Companion" and "Call Companion" spells, my characters are only able to rescue/save up to five people at a time, provided their stats are high enough. Otherwise, you start with one at a time and work your way up to five.
Okay, here's how to use the "Console Command Window"!
Let' say that you want to set "John Doe" to "Essential". His base ID is, 0123456789. Naw, forget that. Let's use a real NPC instead.
Let's say that you want to set, "Ris Fralmoton" to "Essential". His base ID code is, "00015EA1". So click open the window, click on him, then enter the code command, "SetEssential 00015EA 1". To make someone non-essential, or mortal, make the last number a "0" instead of "1". That's how you turn people on and off, via that method!
For your own character it is called "God Mode", and you enter "TGM" to turn it on and off.
I'm glad that you're having fun, and I like your mod idea there.
