Melee Combat in 6.0

Post by BlueNinja01 »

So i've beaten the game once... during that time, i added the text files to allow first-person viewpoint for melee weapons. i personally don't care for playing the game in third person most of the time... but that is another subject for posting. back to the point... once first-person view for melee was enabled, sounds worked great, and enemies responded properly to damage, and blood spattered and all that. however, the weapon i'm holding is not visible on screen, and i cannot see it or arms when i swing at my target. is this normal? and, is there a way to set my game so that the arms/weapon are visible? thanks guys!

Yes, because Troika never did first person view melee models and animations. That's the reason why this is an optional view point in the first place.
