I actually have two questions, both based around leveling past level 20 on the Xbox 360.
1) What happens if you, when choosing your perks for level 20, choose the Here and Now perk? Wouldn't you automatically gain a level, bringing you to level 21?
2) How does the game stop you from leveling past 20? You can technically gain infinite XP what with the scrap metal and respawning enemies (raiders/super mutants at least)
Level 21 with no cheats?
Level 21 with no cheats?
It takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face
Unfortunately, that's just the way the came is coded. Once you reach level 20, nothing you do adds any more XP. I haven't tried the Here and Now perk at level 19, but I suspect you either can't pick it, or if you do it's just wasted.SevLives wrote:I actually have two questions, both based around leveling past level 20 on the Xbox 360.

Can the answer to this question be "No"?

If not already available, it will be soon.
The third DLC, Broken Steel, Alters the Ending of the original game (unless you chose to do nothing, in which case you still die), AND increases the Level cap to 30.
IT is/will be available on XBox Live Marketplace & Games for Windows Live.
As for level 21, IT was stated that it will be a slower process (like maybe requiring 25000 EXP, is my GUESS) after 20, but it will be possible to reach 30.
The amount of grinding that would require is staggering, and likely only true Hardcore would even try, however.....
But the Bragging rights....

Broken Steel came out earlier this week. It does not have slower leveling, so I don't think it'll take much effort to hit level 30.GoldDragon wrote:As for level 21, IT was stated that it will be a slower process (like maybe requiring 25000 EXP, is my GUESS) after 20, but it will be possible to reach 30.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."
