Returning player needs help

Hey guys

Just started playing IDII after a long, long time and I have a question.

Where can I see my characters total XP, his BAB and stuff like that, all I managed to find is that menu that i get into with a "G", but it doesn't show experience and I'm certain that on my previous play i could see it somewhere. Am I missing something?

Hehe, now I leveled up and have no idea what to click to actually assign skills and feats. Got that yellow plus sign on portraits.

Try pressing "R" as a shortkey for Record. Also, there's a small icon showing a piece of paper and a feather just under the character portraits. If you leave the mouse pointer over it, it reads "Record".
