"Hanging" screen...

I did a brief search for this and didn't find anything...

Upon reaching Kuldahar Pass my screen 'freezes' upon the opening scene where the hermit approaches you. My party moves as if they are standing there unpaused but I can't do anything as all the buttons do not work and are slightly greyed out... I have restarted the game several times and have reinstalled the game and it still happens... whats up?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found a like issue in the archives.... I think the issue revolves around HOW...
