Just after completing the Patron of the Ancient Arts quest and going to The Last Round I enter the Ventrue Tower to report to the prince and when the loading bar is approx 40% the game crashes.
I'm using the unofficial 6.3 Basic patch,no mods.
However I was continuing an 5.7 save and everything was fine until now.
I've tried different resolutions and settings but it didn't help.
I've attached a zip file with my DxDiag and 2 Crash Logs.
I appreciate any help.
Crash when entering the Ventrue Tower.
I'm relatively certain that the save game is your issue. VTMB saves all map node data in the save games. This is why that gun that your enemy dropped is still on the ground if you return to the map. The problem is most patches and mods add new nodes to the maps. If you have never visited a map before in the old save game OR the mod/patch didn't add any new nodes to the map, you are normally fine. But if the mod/patch did add new nodes to the map, the game becomes unstable when it reloads the area's node data and crashes often occure.
So my point is that you were lucky for a while, but eventually you entered an area where the old save game data caused a memory corruption because the map changed.

The bug may in fact be an issue with 6.3. The problem is,if you sent a save game to the patch author and it had a mix-match of map nodes from various patch versions, it would be impossible for him to figure out if the problem was introduced by 6.3, or if it is a relic of 5.7 or if it has something to do with an incompatibility between the node data. As a VTMB mod author myself, I know personally it is impossible to help you with your situations.
So... your options are: re-install with the 5.7 patch and then re-use your newest pure 5.7 save game or start over. The thing is, bugs were probably fixed. For all I know, that crash might be a known bug from 5.7, so if you re-install everything, you might STILL crash when you get to that point. So my advice is... if you already have 6.3 installed, just start a new game. Then if it crashes, you will be able to send your save games to the author and he will be able to diagnose the problem. I know it sucks. All I can suggest is use some cheats like God mode to get back to where you were quickly.

I apologize cause I was using 5.9 and not 5.7.
I reinstalled the game and installed unofficial patch 5.9 which I was using before and got the same crash.
My last pure 5.9 save was much earlier into the game and continuing it would be like starting a new game.
How easy will it be to get to where I was via Console?I don't want to speedrun to that point using Godmode.
Is sending the savegame to Wesp an option?I understand his contribution to the game and I'd hate to bug him with my problem.

Ok, let me try saying this a different way. Go to a save that you know that doesn't crash. Go up to the Venture towers. Before you enter, make a save right there. Then try entering the tower, if it crashes, then you have a save right before. Reboot your system, then try going in again. If it keeps on crashing, you may need to go back to an even earlier save, and try again. The final attempt, is to start a whole new game.
