main quest problem/glitch

i am a the point after i have completed the blood of the devine quest but martin will not give me the next quest. i have completed the aid for bruma quest and any other quest up to this point

If i am not mistaken, i think you are supposed to talk to Jauffre. Try that, if that doesnt help then it must be a glitch.

The next quest Martin should give you takes place at Miscarcand, where you have to acquire the Great Welkynd stone. Have you ever gone to Miscarcand before? Because if you have done so, it has been known to cause massive errors during the main quest you are trying to get now.
