I haven't seen it mentioned here (and I have to admit it surprises me).

So here is the news for those who don't know yet: there is a new Monkey Island game! (Although it's only an episode and not the full game yet.) You can even download a demo!

They are also planning a remake of the first title of the series. You're supposed to be able to switch from the old version to the new one anytime during your playthrough.

Probably because it's an adventure title, rather than RPG. I've seen it mentioned about, and it's good to see it's been released in chapters like the latest Sam & Max. I have no idea regarding its quality, however.

I never played this game before.. but it looks interesting, maybe i should try this game

Some of the people working on it had worked on the original Monkey Island and Sam and Max, and another one worked on Day of the Tentacle. It doesn't necessarily means it will be good, but one can hope.

Loved the original...
Remember laughing at the way you had to solve the quests involved...
probably still have the disc somewhere...

The Secret of Monkey Island is already on Steam and I downloaded it a few days ago. Same game, greatly improved gfx. Fully voiced over.

The Monkey Island series is a must play.

I haven't tried the "tales" though.
