Sith Master on Manaan

Alright as the title says, I am needing some help defeating the Sith Master and his Selkath apprentices on Manaan. It's funny because I've completed this game 10+ times and I've never had that much probably with him. I barely defeated the three Dark Jedi a little before. Killed everybody except Carth so put a Vibro-Doubleblade on him to mop up the rest while using medpacs every turn. I'm kind of in an item deficiency right now. I have 50 medpacs and no shields. If I can't defeat him I guess I will just leave the base and not get the datapad and XP from defeating him. So any good strategies?

Oh, I also don't have very many force powers and am using Echani light armor, lightsaber in right, Echani Foil in left. My held items can be changed though. Any suggestions?

same thing happened to me

Same thing happened to me but i went in with t3m4 and bastila. my guy and bastilla died so i decided to take t3 and ran around the base planting all the mines i had one of the selkath gave chase and i killed him easily than the sith master ran into all the mines and died. since you have carth alive maybe u can have him plant mines? i planted the mines in bunches so wif the sith runs into one he'l hit them all

Thanks, I'll try the mines and see how that works out. It just seems if I could get some good hits off on them it would be easy, but almost everything is miss.
I think I found the deal though, I'm playing as a soldier/ sentinal. The last time I did that I had a hard time getting through the game as well. I got completely stuck at the Star Forge and literally couldn't go any farther. I'll give it a try though.
