Custard Mansion

I accepted the quest from the Guild of Mystery to enter the Custard Mansion and I offed the headless monster thing and the banshee, but I don't see a map...

I read that the headless guy dropped the map... but it may have disappeared while I was fighting the banshee...

What to do?

If I remember correct, when you kill the headless guy, there opens a secret room with a chest, I think the map is inside.

I'm pretty sure he drops it - don't think it's in the chest. However, quest items (keys, the vampire's heart, Custard map, etc.) don't disappear. Make sure you have a "high enough" scouting ability (2 or 3 should be high enough; I know 5 is) to see the yellow dot on the screen, and you should find it quick enough. Are you sure you haven't already picked it up? It would be in your inventory under "keys".

I expected the quest to update when I picked up the map, but even though it didn't I still beat the quest. Thanks
