can you make it so that a small object like a ring or necklace is enchanted to keep a spell active all the time.

if so could i in theory enchant a ring with a permanent enlarge spell, giv it to a halfling and counter act thosedownsides to being small :D

Yeah, there's rules on magic item creation for continuous items in the SRD and the dungeon masters guide.

Also, Enlarge can be made permanent by the permanency spell. So it depends on if you want to spend the gold or the XP.

I don't see what downsides you are trying to avoid. Enlarging a Halfling will make you lose the +1 to hit and AC.

well i was gonna try something completely diffrernt and make a hafling fighter with a construct arm, so if im gonna weild big weapons i need to be big.
